Service Description
This program is designed for new college graduates to help you prepare for your very first job and set you up for success from day one. It includes three (3) sessions (5 hours total). To succeed in your career, securing the right job is just the beginning. A new job is a new opportunity, but how you position yourself, tackle challenges, set boundaries, and build relationships with your manager, team, and key players within the organization will determine whether you rise on the career ladder or face setbacks. AFTER COMPLETING THIS PROGRAM, YOU WILL KNOW HOW TO: • START STRONG IN YOUR NEW ROLE. Learn how to set yourself up for success from day one by understanding your role’s expectations, communicating effectively, building productive relationships with your manager, team, and leadership, and contributing meaningfully to your organization. • NAVIGATE CORPORATE LIFE WITH CONFIDENCE. Master the essentials of building a professional reputation, addressing workplace challenges, and understanding corporate politics so you can thrive in any environment. BEFORE OUR FIRST CALL: You will complete a Career Roadmap Questionnaire to outline your career goals, strengths, and areas for growth. ON OUR FIRST CALL (2 hours): • We will discuss your career goals and aspirations. • Identify the strengths that can propel your career and the weaknesses that may hold you back. • Discuss the key drivers of success in the workplace. ON OUR SECOND CALL (1.5 hours): • Learn how to build effective relationships with your manager, team members, and colleagues at all levels of the organization. • Master the art of effective communication and receive practical tips. • Understand how to manage your manager, conduct productive one-on-ones, give and receive feedback, and enhance your chances for promotion. ON OUR THIRD CALL (1.5 hours): • Learn about your employment rights and protections. • Gain strategies to handle challenging situations and navigate uncomfortable conversations in the workplace. • Understand the key concepts of performance improvement plans, terminations, and layoffs to safeguard your career. • Create a strategic plan for your first year on the job, focusing on how to set yourself up for success within the first 6-12 months. I will guide you through this pivotal stage, helping you build a strong foundation for your career. Together, we will ensure you have the knowledge and strategies for a successful start to your exciting career journey.
Cancellation & Late Arrival Policy
IF LATE ARRIVAL If the Client arrives late for a scheduled session, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time. The Consultant is not obligated to extend the session time to compensate for the Client’s late arrival. If the Client is more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, the session may be considered a no-show, and the session fee may be forfeited. The Client acknowledges and agrees they shall not be entitled to a refund for this session rendered under any circumstances. IF CANCELLATION By the Client: If the Client cancels the session with at least a 24-hour notice, they may reschedule without penalty. If the Client cancels with less than a 24-hour notice or fails to attend the session, the session fee may be forfeited, and no refund will be issued. The Client acknowledges and agrees they shall not be entitled to a refund for this session rendered under any circumstances. By the Consultant: If the Consultant cancels the session, the Client may choose to reschedule the session or receive a full refund.
